Nursery Care year round during worship
& Sunday school for infants thru 3 year olds

Children & Youth gather with their families
in worship at 10 a.m.
Following the Children's Sermon they leave
for class. Approximately every 5th week we have FAMILY SUNDAY
On that day there is no Sunday School so children, youth and families worship together in a service which children & young people
have helped plan and participate.
FAMILY SUNDAYS - Everyone worships together - childcare available
for little ones!

Pre-K
(3's/4's) are taught in a
self-contained class by two experienced, caring teachers. They
meet in the lower
level and follow a curriculum appropriate to their age.
K-1st,
2nd-3rd, 4th-5th Graders participate in a Rotation Model of
Christian Education. Each unit lasts 4 weeks and during that time
children "rotate" through 1 of 3 workshops dealing with a Biblical
story, character or topic. Each class has a shepherd who meets
with them every week, guides them to their workshop and stays with them
during the session. On the 5th week, Family Sunday, the worship is
planned around the theme of the previous rotation. Fall 2009 Themes:
Unit 1: Abraham & Sarah Unit 2: The 10 Commandments,
Unit 3: Preparation for the Christmas Pageant scheduled for
December 21 during worship.
Cream Cheese Crew (grades 6-8)
stay on the 3rd floor but follow the same calendar and theme as the
Rotation. is Megan Gratzek.
Bagel Bunch (grades 9-12)
Yes, there are real bagels, cream cheese & juice each Sunday as youth
meet to discuss various subjects led by Larry Williams, Youth
Director.
